• Bathrooms and kitchen are the most important features of a rental property, they should be kept clean, tiles on walls and floors repaired if loose or missing, kitchen appliances cleaned and instructions provided for use.
• Provide agent with two full sets of keys, including all doors, window locks and remote controls for garage, air conditioning etc. Also instruction booklets on any electrical appliances.
• Ensure that lawns are mowed; shrubs and trees are pruned back.
• If security is an issue provide window locks and dead locks on all accessible areas.
• Electrician to provide a safety check of all power points and electrical wiring.
